Strání Elementary School has an unused attic with a total area of up to 1,200 m2. At the same time there is a large shortage of space for local cultural groups. More and more tourists are also heading to the region due to the unique surrounding nature and rich cultural program.

The aim of the architectural design was to examine whether it would be possible to make part of the campus and attic of the school accessible so that it could be used by local folk musicians and tourists. The architectural design builds on the maximum usability of existing structures. All extensions are designed so that they can be easily disassembled, replaced or recycled. Natural materials are preferred in all structures.
